Our plant in Vitoria-Gasteiz is inaugurated, marking the beginning of independent manufacturing of high-quality abrasive products.
Manhattan GmbH
With a new headquarters in Germany, we begin specializing in rubber abrasives and expand our distribution network across Europe.
Abrasivos Unesa, S.L.
With the acquisition of Unesa, the Manhattan Group diversifies its product range to include vitrified and resin-bonded abrasives.

The WHEEL 3D project, titled “3D Printing of a New Generation of Elastic Super-Finish Abrasive Tools,” is an initiative co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
The main objective of this project is to develop 3D printing of elastic grinding wheels specifically designed for super-finishing operations. Led by the R&D teams from Manhattan Abrasives and Ekin S. Coop., it has the active collaboration of IMH Campus and UPV/EHU, renowned research centers within the Basque Network of Science, Technology, and Innovation (RVCTI).
